Attendance/Term dates

ILLNESS

If your child is ill, please telephone the school 0121 429 4284 press option1 for absence line, before 9am and let us know your child ‘s name, class and why they are absent.

If you take your child to the doctors and you are given some medication it is helpful if this can be brought into school to be photocopied for our attendance file.

HOLIDAYS

All parents are requested NOT to take their child out of school during term time for holidays.

Annie Lennard School does not authorise holidays in term time and any leave should be recorded on a ‘Request for Leave of Absence’ form available from school entrance.

If you believe that your childs absence should be authorised, please send in a supporting letter with your Leave of Absence form.

LATENESS

Classroom doors will open 8:45am and will close at 8:50am, children can arrive anytime between these times. If your child arrives after this time you must take them to the school office.

MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS

If your child has a medical appointment during school time, please let the office know and , if possible, bring in appointment card in the school office where it can be photocopied.
